Real estate meeting yesterday, Monday 5/4 05/05/09 by
Thanks to all who took the time yesterday to come join us for our first real estate meeting. I am so grateful for our panel to share their experience and wisdom in this friendly group.

I admit that I did not take down notes, too much was going on... here are some of the questions that were answered:
- What is going on in the market, should I buy or sell or what?
- Why is the market in Arlington actually up... and surprisingly its been busier recently than over the past few years.
- Is there a difference in the market between single home and multi-family home?
- Should I use a broker, and why?
- Once I made the decision to sell my home, how should I go about presenting it?
- What is important to buyers, other than the price?

Did I forget anything? Post it here

Alex, please do elaborate on the next event. The real estate meeting sounds as though it was very informative for all in attendance. The issues are serious and helping people figure out the best ways to squeeze every dollar out of a home sale is a blessing to many.

Can one of the participants share how many people were there? I am curious. Also, I have heard about the next event being something around local music. Can you elaborate, Alex?
